This week's passage in Ecclesiastes can be summed up by two Latin phrases: memento mori and coram deo. When the reality of how short our lives are really hits us, we are moved to action. What kind of action? Loving well, fighting sin, praying hard, seeking Jesus, and living before the face of God.
