This Sunday, Jeff Mulpas with Alpha Christian Children's Home shared with us briefly about the ministry of compassion and rescue that he is involved in.
At the close of Mark 8, Jesus reveals the fullness of his mission to his disciples, and it's not what they were expecting. Jesus told them he must - MUST - suffer, be rejected, be killed, and the rise again. He goes on to make the point that anyone who wants to follow him must follow that same path! "What can a man give in exchange for his soul?"
